Read Chapters 11 and 12 and summarize.

Pip is struggling through his schooling but he desires to push and do his best. Joe keeps encouraging and does that by calling him the scholar. He advises Pip to take the honest path. Another mysterious guy is holding the exact file he stole for the first convict. At Miss Havisham's garden he fights a man. He pushed the man down and Estella the girl he's been playing cards with allows him to kiss her. After that night he felt humiliated. Pip is always worrying about everything. He assumed hes going to get in trouble for the fighting. He resumed on his sessions at Miss Havisham's. He believed she was going to make him into a gentlemen. At the end he found that his assumption was incorrect and was ended up disseminated.

Pip goes back to Ms. Havisham's place for her birthday and is surrounded by uninterested and insincere relatives of hers also visiting. A man makes Pip get into a fight, Pip won, and Estella let him kiss her on the cheek. Pip is worried that he will get in trouble for the fight but it was not brought up again when he visits Ms. Havisham again and he continues to visit for the following months. Pip thought Ms. Havisham will build up his confidence and make him into a rich, social gentleman. He starts to drift away from his family and relies on Biddy instead of Joe. He was too blind to see that Ms. Havisham just wants Estella to torture him and break his heart. He's ashamed of Joe because Joe is too ordinary. After a while, Ms. Havisham released her true colors and Pip realized she never wanted to help him at all.

Pip is not that good in school. Joe lightens Pips mood by telling him that hes a scholar.Later on, Pip gets into a fight with a mysterious man, he wins, and Estella kisses him.
Pip does not get in trouble. He thinks that Miss Havisham will turn him into a gentleman. He is wrong, She just wanted Estella to break his heart and make his life terrible. Miss Havisham at the end on the chapter isnt as nice as Pip thought she was.

In these two chapters, Pip makes a couple of mistakes. He has trouble in school and seeks help from others. Joe encourages Pip to continue to try his best in school work and to take the honest path. Pip goes to Ms. Havisham's place because of her birthday. While Pip is there, he got into a fight with a man and Pip won, but he's now worried that he will get in trouble for fighting. Although, this fight was never brought up again, and he continues to come to Ms. Havisham because he believes that she has good intentions for him. He thought that she wanted to help him be a better man, to have confidence, and be a good gentleman, but she doesn't really want to help him at all. During the time Pip visited Ms. Havisham on her birthday, Estella let Pip kiss her on the cheek. Ms. Havisham not only doesn't want to help Pip become a gentleman, she wants Estella to break his heart.

Pip's worrying over the man, who is nowhere in sight, and what punishment Pip might suffer for beating him up. Pip now spends every other day at Miss Havisham's. Pip's guilt about beating up the man torments him, he's again afraid to tell Joe, in fact, it is only Biddy in whom he can confide. He continues to go to Miss Havisham. He believed she was going to make him into a gentlemen. But later on he was incorrect.

During these two chapters, Pip is struggling in school. With Joe's help, he is still determined to do his best and has encouragement. Later on, Pip attended Miss Havisham's birthday. A fight was then bought up because they were both holding the file stolen from the convict. Pip did win and was permitted to kiss Estella on the cheek. Although he thought that he would've gotten in trouble, he didn't. Even Miss Havisham gave him her word to help him turn into a gentlemen, Pip then found out that she only wanted Estella to get close to him to break his heart.

So far Pip is kind of fighting to do good in his school. He has motivation and tries/pushes himself to do his very best. Joe sees this and encourages him. He also gives him a piece of advice which was to take a honest path. We also learn that Pip sees a unknown mysterious guy who is holding the same exact file that Pip gave to the first convict. Pip is also pushed to the edge at Miss Havisham's garden to fight a man. He wins in that fight and Estella allows him to give him a kiss on her cheeck. That night Pip feels very ashamed in himself. He thinks he is going to get in trouble for fighting. Miss Havisham never tells Ms.Joe that Pip got in a fight so Pip doesn't get in trouble. He continued to get his classes at Miss Havisham's. Pip believed that Miss Havisham was going to make him into a gentlemen. He is greatly mistaken because he finds out Miss Havisham wasn't trying to help him at all.
