1. Pip wanted Biddy to "impart all her learning on him" because he felt he needed to know more knowledge due to how he previously feels about himself and knowing that he is not good enough in Estella's eyes. He wants to be smarter and a gentleman and basically just better than who he is essentially born as and as the person he has learned to be. He feels dissatifaction for himself.

2. The stranger and the Jolly Bargeman made Pip feel uneasy because at first Pip felt the abnormal glares and fearful stares the stranger would give him that would gurantee no one else would catch to see but Pip. The stranger acts quite corteous and commonly polite towards everyone, and Joe. However he questions information about Pip and his relations with Joe that no one finds particularly suspicious except Pip. Pip then feels even more fearful when he catches the stranger purposely taking out a file and purposely letting Pip see it, and realizes it is the same file that was Joe's that he gave to the convict. He then is terrified the man will reveal Pip's realaionship with the convict to Joe.

3.What Pip found queer about the young man in Miss Havisham's garden was his intentions and appearences. As Pip is sent outside, a pale young man appears out of nowhere in the garden. What is stranger is that the pale young man had enough common cortesy while speaking to Pip and then telling him to fight him. Pip does nothing but follow along and ends up beating him up and then strangely afterwards speaks to him briefly but with the same common cortesy by asking him if he can help to which he replys no thank you and both bid each other a good afternoon.

4. Miss Havisham is trying to raise Estella to become a woman controller, a ruler, sure of herself, cruel, callous and most of all, a heartbreaker. She aims to make Estella into a controller of people and toy with men and dicieve them and make them feel heartbreak. This is due to Miss Havisham's horrible experiences long ago when she was a young lady and felt what she wants Estella to make men in general feel because of what a man made Miss Havisham feel. It is only human nature for the situatio to have a devastating affect on Miss Havisham, turning her bitter, and twisting her ideals coldly and leaving her forever vengeful.

5. Pip goes to the Satis House for his reward and brings Joe but is resulted with humiliation. Pip is upset because Joe is acting un-gentlemenly and unnecessary shyness that embarasses Pip. Joe refuses to answer Miss Havisham when she askes questions towards and only faces talking to Pip everytime he is questioned. Pip urgently trys to make Joe act more properly and feels stronger and stronger of that nature when he sees the look of disaproval and smirk feeling on Estella's face. Even though Joe was only very awkward and scared, Pip thought veyr harshly of his actions and grudgingly upset for the rest of night, especially when joe preceeds to give the money Miss Havisham gives to them (25 pounds) to Mrs. Joe to her previous fury of not being invited along. Joe lies and says that it was Miss Havisham's intentions of giving it specifically to her.

6. Estella tells Pip he may kiss her after the fight he has won because Estella is only succeeding in making Pip want her more and make him feel negative, bad, horrible, with no self-esteem about himself and who he is.
However though Pip wishes badly to become closer to Estella and trys to hide it, he does not enjoy the kiss he gives her on the cheek because of just beating a man up. He feels horrible and empty and thinks about how bad he felt hitting the young man over and over, though he keep coming at him forcing Pip to beat him to a weak bloody point.

7. Miss Havisham wanted to see Joe because Pip told her it was him he was to be apprenticed to and work for. Miss Havisham gives Joe and Pip a final review of Pip's visits at her house and to give him a reward.
